How to order

Every products in our shopping center is illustrated by a photo (to enlarge, click on it) and by a brief description. Just below the description you will find a summary (product’s name, item code, official price (Euro) and approx price (USD).
Click ADD to add the item you prefer in your shopping basket. Shopping basket is viewing at any time just clicking on VIEW LIST. You can delete all the items included in your shopping basket clicking DELETE LIST or you can delete just a single item by clicking DEL button on the right side.
If you like to continue order procedure, click SEND ORDER. At this step, you will request to insert your data (first name, last name, address, postal code, city, state, country, phone number, e-mail address) and/or shipping data.
Once you’ve filled this form, you will find the total amount due (product’s cost, VAT, shipping costs). Please consider that VAT costs will be charged only for UE residents. Clicking on SEND ORDER, the connection will automatically transfer to the SSL3 server of our Bank (Banca Antoniana Popolare Veneta). Here you will insert your credit card data (card number, expire month and year). Bank’s Server will provide you and Galla 1880 for the transaction result via e-mail.
Then, you will receive a confirmation e-mail outlining the details of your order, including scheduled shipment time.


Returns, 15-day money-back-guarantee

Goods can be returned within 15 days from the delivery date, without giving any reason for doing so.
Returned goods must be in perfect conditions, unused and undamaged.
All returns must be professionally packed, using the original packaging materials.
Shipping and insurance costs for the return shipment must be carried by our customers.
Once the goods have been returned, you will receive a full reimbursement of the cost of the goods.


About credit cards on the Internet

While there has been a considerable amount of press coverage given to the "lack of security" on the Internet and the potential danger in sending credit card information over the Internet, the truth is quite different. At Galla 1880 we are most concerned that our customers remain happy and loyal.
While most of other “shops” on the Net are simply “virtual”, Galla 1880 exists in Vicenza since XIX century with three “real” shops. Our mail goal is customer satisfaction (products' quality, shipping celerity, personal data security & privacy).
While we certainly realize that there have been a few security problems over the history of the Internet, we actually know of no one who has actually had a problem using credit cards over the Net. The bottom line is that it is probably safer to use your credit card over the Internet with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) than it is to use it in a restaurant, store or mail-order company.

As you will asked to key in your credit card number, the transmission will be automatically transferred to our Bank SSL server (Banca Antoniana Popolare Veneta). The Bank will verify your credit card data and it will transmit back via e-mail to the customer and to Galla 1880 the money transfer authorization.
Galla 1880 will never know your credit card number and it's appear a further protection against security problems.

Products' availability

Not all writing instruments are available in large quantities. Limited editions, especially, are not available in all variations and nib sizes.
